Okuma CNC Machinist

A full-time role for CNC Machinist or Precision Machining Specialist to produce high-precision components for a leading engineering firm in Melbourne's northern suburbs

• Requires: 5 years’ experience in CNC machining, particularly with Mill-Turn Lathe applications
• Salary guide: Depending on experience 
• Location: Northern Suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria

Your normal day will involve:

• Reviewing job sheets and engineering drawings to understand specifications
• Setting up and operating Mill-Turn Lathe machines, with adjustments as required
• Manufacturing high-precision parts, conducting quality checks, and monitoring production
• Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Collaborating with the engineering team to optimize production and maintain efficiency
