Position: OFR Exports Controller

Location: Durban, South Africa

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with existing customers.
• Handle customer complaints and enquiries.
• Provide high levels of customer service with a sense of urgency.
• Support OPS Operations Manager / Team leader with the implementation of new or changed systems, directives and distribution of information to staff.
• Build and maintain relationships with carriers.
• Arrange for the movement of shipment from pick‑up at customer to delivery at carriers.
• Book with carrier / Update CW1 remarks with booking info.
• Complete export documents.
• Quality check documentation before lodging to airline.
• Close the shipment in CWI.
• Uplift confirmations to customers.
• Upload shipping documents into the DHL EDM system.
