Officer - Safety & Health

Job Summary

The Safety & Health Officer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining safety and health programs to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. This role involves conducting safety inspections, investigating accidents and incidents, developing safety training programs, and ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations. The Officer will work closely with various departments to promote a safety-conscious culture and prevent workplace hazards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the contractor’s safety and health management, ensuring contractors adhere with legal and TC SHE requirements.
• Conduct routine site inspections to identify hazards and enforce corrective actions.
• Advise TC to facilitate internal and external audits as required.
• Supervise, guide, and coordinate the activities of the Site Safety Supervisor.
• Collaborate with the PMD team and contractor to perform HIAROC.
