Officer, Design and Construction – Western Canada

The incumbent is responsible for supporting CN’s growing Western Canada business by assuming progressively greater responsibility and leadership in the project management of internal capacity expansion projects, supporting internal teams including Bridges and Structures, Public Works, and Business Development, and developing railroader knowledge. The role is situated within CN’s Western Region, Design and Construction group, and the incumbent is a Professional Engineer or Engineer in Training.

Main Responsibilities

·Collaborate with the Western Region Design & Construction team to lead and execute projects, ensuring schedules are achieved, budgets are maintained, and everyone returns home safely.

·Conduct site visits to develop an understanding of site conditions and optimize project design and construction outcomes.
