Job Description

 
  Functie 
 A forwarder coordinates independently the logistics orders based on the procedures requested or pre-imposed by the customer.
 The responsibilities of the Ocean Freight Forwarder are:
 Gather and check the shipment information
 Receive, record and validate customer order in the TMS taking into consideration our offer (quotation, SOP)
 Define the execution plan (routing) versus the operational constraints (embargoes, Transit Time, Cost,) (with Middle Office solutions)
 Collect all required documents (commercial invoice, packing list, etc.)
 Handle shipments
 Check the availability of cargo and provide confirmation that shipping can proceed
 Optimize the operational execution and perform the transportation plan (booking) (with Middle Office solutions)
 Input up to date information regarding the shipment in the TMS
 Produce documentation according to custo...
