Ocean Export Coordinator

We are looking for a dynamic and skilled Ocean Export Coordinator to join our ocean freight team in Ashby de la Zouch on a 9‑month fixed‑term contract. The role offers a salary of £30,000 to £33,000 per annum, depending on experience, and the opportunity to work hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate ocean export bookings from order through to delivery, monitoring shipment status and client expectations, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate transport and services with internal teams and external partners, ensuring cost control and accurate charging of duties, VAT and fees.
• Maintain precise documentation and system updates, acting as the primary point of contact for assigned customers.
• Handle quotations, enquiries, requests and complaints with a solutions‑focused approach, identifying opportunities for growth.
