A specialist autism provision in Gateshead supporting around 85 pupils is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team. The provision supports pupils aged 5-11 with complex autism profiles and communication needs.

Responsibilities

• Delivering sensory integration activities
• Supporting pupils transitioning between lessons
• Creating personalised regulation plans
• Coaching staff on practical classroom strategies
• Working directly with families to ensure consistency between school and home

Requirements

• Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm
• Start: September or sooner for the right candidate
