Opportunity

The staff therapist functions as a member of a multidisciplinary team and is responsible for the management of all occupational therapy aspects of the patient’s care. Upon referral from a physician, the therapist is responsible for assessing and developing a program of care to help patients assume or reassume the skills needed for daily living. The therapist helps identify barriers and enables patients to change them. The therapist participates in the education of patients and/or appropriate caregivers, students, other health care workers and the general public regarding the management of occupational therapy aspects of patient care.
