Occupational Therapist – Rehabilitation Team, Dunedin

Salary: $79,014 – $110,290 + Kiwisaver pro rata; 5FTE (20hrs per week); permanent opportunity.

About the role

Rehabilitation within Dunedin includes two community teams triaged by age (< 65 and > 65) and two rehabilitation wards again largely divided by age. The wider rehabilitation team is a focused patient team that strives to achieve the best outcomes for our patients. These roles are within the older community rehabilitation team, EDRS.

This is a dynamic and evolving community interdisciplinary team; you will be part of an experienced supportive team, planning and providing intensive rehabilitation to our diverse patients within their own homes and transitional care. We have recently taken on a new ACC contract and are now seeing orthopaedic patients that would benefit from rehabilitation in the community to improve outcomes and avoid readmission.
