Occupational Therapist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Community Rehabilitation Team (CRT) on a temporary basis for 1 year.

CRT provides rehabilitation to the adult population within the locality, delivering care to service users as in‑patients, out‑patients or at home.

Applicants must hold a degree in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and treatment for a mixed caseload of mainly older people with complex needs as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and service development activities.
• Provide supervisory support and mentor students.
• Work at other community hospital sites as required.
• Travel throughout the area to support community rehabilitation.
• Maintain a flexible weekly schedule covering seven days, including public holidays.
