Occupational Therapist I

Your Opportunity:

Working in a fast-paced environment, the Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing comprehensive assessment, consultation, and treatment programs for patients at the Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital. The ability to collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to provide effective patient care and appropriate discharge planning is an essential part of this role. You will utilize your strong clinical reasoning skills to assess clients, develop treatment programs and liaise with Therapy Assistants. The successful candidate will maintain adequate clinical records, provide rehabilitation education/consultation services to staff and community, provide input into Occupational Therapy service development, planning and evaluation, and perform other related duties as required, within the operational framework of Allied Health and the Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital.
