Occupational Therapist - Contingent - Novi Providence

Department: Occupational Therapy - Acute Care- Novi, MI

CONTINGENT - 7:30am-4:00PM-Acute Care experience preferred, but willing to train the appropriate candidates.
Minimum commitment of two weekend day shifts per month
Minimum requirement of two Holidays and two hard-to-fill days per year
Additional shifts available for weekday coverage for vacations and LOAs.
Additional evening shifts available to cover a very busy elective surgical caseload.

Evaluates and treats patients with physical, emotional, cognitive and/or psychosocial deficits.

Responsibilities:

+ Assesses patient 's ability to safely and effectively perform independent living skills.

+ Designs the appropriate plan of care, including type and frequency of treatment.

+ Implements the treatment plan using appropriate modalities.

+ Documents findings of patient progress. Monitors and modifies the plan of care as needed.
