POSITION OVERVIEW:
Butterfly Grove School is a premier independent school dedicated exclusively to the education and
empowerment of students on the autism spectrum. Under general supervision, the Occupational
Therapist provides occupational therapy services to students exhibiting a range of learning-related
challenges, including developmental delays, behavior disorders, perceptual-motor and visual-motor
difficulties, gross and fine motor delays, and other associated disorders that interfere with a
student’s ability to benefit from their educational program.
Therapy will be provided directly to students. Either in a push-in and/or pull-out model.The
Occupational Therapist will work as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, applying both
Educational models to design and deliver individualized services that support the whole child.
