Our Macraes-based Health & Safety team is searching for an Occupational Hygiene Technician. If you have experience across Occupational Hygiene, OHS, Nursing or similar, and are keen to join New Zealand's largest gold mine, apply now!

This role will provide health and safety services to support the Macraes Operation to ensure site compliance with relevant health and safety legislation, regulatory authorities and OceanaGold’s Health, Safety and Environment Performance Standards Manual.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational hygiene monitoring, through the collection and preparation of samples and results. This includes accurately recording valid air monitoring and noise dosimetry samples, ambient noise, as well as respiratory and hearing protector device fit testing.
