Provides tactical support to meet the goals and objectives of the organization and service for the assigned shift. Responsible for the assessment, evaluation, discipline, coaching and monitoring of staff. Functions in a leadership role contributing to the efficient and effective operations of the service. Maintains clinical competency and utilizes the nursing process when carrying out clinical duties.
