Nursing Attendant - Casual

The incumbent will perform basic resident care tasks to meet resident care needs in accordance with centre policies, procedures and nursing standards. Provides assistance in a manner that demonstrates the principles of appropriate choice, dignity, privacy, independence and individuality in accordance with programs goals, values and organizational policies and procedures. Fulfills multi-skilled tasks such as assisting with food delivery, laundry, performing light housekeeping duties such as making beds, disposing of linen, maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of nursing units, supporting care, acceptance and related maintenance of both full and part time pets. Attends and participates in team meetings, assisting in defining educational needs, program process, policy and procedure development, problem solving and solution finding, sharing educational material /information gathered at workshops, conferences, etc. Performs other related duties as assigned/required.<...
