Nursery Manager - Crop Production

Nursey Manager, AGRICULTURE - Western Cape

Role & Responsibilities

• Meet plant quality requirements according to Grower programs
• Produce plants on schedule according to the nursery production plan.
• Work collaboratively with global nursery partners
• Ensure best plant health and clean stock practices.
• Control costs and assist in annual budget planning.
• Staff Management
• Recording and maintaining accurate records, inventories, and data
• Ensure that accurate crop records are maintained
• Remain current on all regulatory compliance requirements.

Must be willing to work occasionally during weekends, holidays and periods of adverse weather to accommodate emergency needs.

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant Qualification: Horticulture, plant science, agronomy, etc.
• Experience managing a Nursery, or commercial operation
• MS Office Advanced
