Nurse Practitioner

These positions are located in a maximum security male correctional facility; this RFQ will result in multiple awards to multiple vendors; Monday - Friday, 7am - 3pm shift; holidays are not required, but can be worked; overtime is not required, but may need to be worked due to any emergencies; no cell phones are allowed in the facility; background checks must be provided.
Job description: Nurse Practitioners would serve as the primary care provider, managing all acute and chronic care needs for incarcerated men, age 18 and older. Perform physical examinations, diagnose illnesses and conditions, and prescribe a plan of corrective care, exclusively within their specialty area of practice in collaboration with a licensed physician. Order, interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs.
