An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nurse Practitioner/ Staff Nurse within the Pre-assessment suite at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced nurse to help support the Senior Charge Nurse in delivering a clinically effective service preparing patients for admission for surgery. The post will be primarily Monday to Friday depending on the needs of the service. This is a fixed term post for 9 months covering maternity leave.

The pre-assessment nurse practitioner/staff nurse is an autonomous practitioner who will support the Senior Charge Nurse, working closely with other Nurse Practitioner colleagues, Consultant Anaesthetists and Surgeons in managing waiting list patients attending for elective surgical procedures.
