About the Role

This is a permanent 0.7 FTE designated Senior Nursing role based in Nelson Hospital. Working collaboratively with the nurse educator team and the wider MDT, the Nurse Educator will coach and educate staff to their best potential, resulting in improved experiences and outcomes for health consumers. Key duties include:

• Leading and embedding evidence‑based practice.
• Developing education strategies and learning objectives.
• Engaging staff in identifying areas for development.
• Planning and facilitating learning opportunities.
• Ensuring clinical quality systems are in place within and across surgical nursing services to enhance care delivery.
