We are a multidisciplinary team committed to maintaining a positive work culture, strong work ethic and continual learning. The medical/psychiatry service is a unique care model to the PLC and provides a multi-disciplinary integrated approach to the treatment of patients with concurrent medical and psychiatric illnesses in order to better address the needs of this population. This is a key leadership role on our unit. Working in collaboration with the Management team, the Nurse Clinician is responsible for the overall coordination of the Medical Psychiatry unit, coordinating patient care to ensure discharge planning in a comprehensive and efficient manner to the population served.
