Nuclear Cardiology Technologist (CNMT) Overview
Join a fast-paced cardiology team performing high-quality nuclear cardiac imaging and supporting accurate patient diagnosis. This role combines hands-on imaging, patient care, and clinical collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
+ Prepare and educate patients; verify demographics and clinical data
+ Perform gated SPECT (rest/stress) imaging and nuclear stress testing
+ Apply ECG leads, start IVs, and assist with saline bubble studies
+ Process images (QGS/QPS/ECToolbox) and generate preliminary reports
+ Document procedures in EMR and ensure image quality/accuracy
+ Communicate abnormal findings to physicians and care team
+ Maintain equipment, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, accreditation)
+ Support quality assurance and clinic operations
+ Travel between clinic locations as needed
