Nuclear Med Tech II

**Job Summary and Responsibilities**

+ Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures, including bone scans, PET scans, SPECT scans, and thyroid uptake studies.
+ Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients according to established protocols.
+ Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety.
+ Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
+ Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
+ Participate in quality assurance programs and continuing education activities.

**Job Requirements**

+ More than one (1) year previous experience as a nuclear medicine technician
+ Current on continuing education units required by the licensing boards
