NPI Test Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced
NPI Project Test Engineer
to support new product introductions and supplier readiness for electronic assemblies and systems. This role sits at the intersection of
engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing
, ensuring products are designed, tested, and industrialised with optimal cost, quality, and scalability.

You will work closely with suppliers, internal engineering teams, and supply chain stakeholders to drive manufacturability, test readiness, and cost optimisation from prototype through mass production.

Key Responsibilities

Supplier & Manufacturing Readiness

• Partner with EMS/ECM suppliers to develop technically sound and cost-effective test and manufacturing solutions.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities across
  SMT, PCBA, testing, and final assembly
  processes.
• Lead supplier technical assessments, audits, and readiness reviews for NPI programs.
