NPI Engineer for New Product Launches

Make an impact at SMG as an NPI Engineer, guiding projects from RFQ intake to market launch while collaborating with diverse teams for optimal outcomes.

This role enables you to work within a cross-functional team focused on efficient new product introductions. You'll leverage your expertise in manufacturing to ensure that products meet performance and quality specifications. Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, you’ll also drive vital APQP deliverables and manage documentation integral to the NPI process.

Key Responsibilities: • Lead assigned NPI projects with careful timeline management • Review designs to ensure compatibility with manufacturing processes • Support documentation efforts using ERP and quality tools • Manage APQP deliverables, including process flow diagrams • Partner with suppliers to qualify new materials and components
