Waste Connections is looking for a **Landfill Gas Technician** to join the **JED Landfill t** eam in **St Cloud, FL.**
This will be a Monday – Friday position working 7am to 5pm, approximately 50-hour work week with rotating Saturdays.
**Pay Range:** $22-$30+ an hour DOE + $5000 stay on bonus paid out in increments over one year
**Responsibilities include:**
+ Ensure landfill gas and H2S scrubber systems remain in compliance with all Federal, State and local laws and regulations.
+ Perform routine system inspections and repairs on the landfill gas and leachate systems.
+ Operate a Human Machine Interface (HMI) on landfill gas and leachate control systems.
+ Work with Region Engineer and Landfill Manager to ensure compliance.
+ Maintain relationships with landfill employees as well as consultants, vendors, and customers generating industrial waste.
+ Assist in landfill environmental reviews and audits.
