NOC Network Engineer – Nairobi (On‑Site)
Mon–Fri | 8 AM–5 PM EST (4 PM–1 AM Kenya time).
Advanced English required.
What You'll Do
Ensure 24/7 network reliability and performance through monitoring and rapid incident response.
Manage outages, escalations, and coordination across multiple technical teams.
Analyze network performance (bandwidth, latency, packet loss, KPIs) using enterprise tools.
Execute firmware updates, patches, and configuration changes.
Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, MPLS, SD‑WAN, wireless, VPN, DNS/DHCP, firewalls, routing/switching issues.
Provide support using tools like Wireshark and tcpdump.
Collaborate with field technicians for on‑site support, WiFi surveys, and vendor activities.
Maintain documentation, SOPs, topology diagrams, and RCA reports.
Tools & Technologies
Monitoring: SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix, Cosmos.
Networking: Cisco, Ruckus, Aruba/HP, Meraki.
Firewalls: Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Watchguard.
