NewsNation - Booking Producer - Cuomo

NewsNation is looking for hardworking, creative, and proactive booking producer for a daily show. The ideal candidate has advanced knowledge of newsmakers and political leaders. As a booking producer, you will work with show producers to arrange guest appearances on the program to discuss the news of the day and or breaking news. You must have excellent organizational skills, be an effective communicator, be detail-oriented, and work well under deadline pressure. The position is based at the network's offices in New York, NY.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Pitch stories daily

Identify top tier guests, cultivate relationships, and arrange guest appearances on the show

Conduct pre-interviews and in-depth research on range of topics

Organize and produce elements for show segments

Monitor the latest news and locate people, images, and sound editorial information via Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Dataminr, YouTube, and other platforms
