Job Description

WKEF is looking for its next Morning Newscast Director. This position plays a key role in the daily execution of live broadcast news operations. This position is also responsible for directing and coding multiple live newscasts, including approximately six hours of live morning news programming, while providing technical leadership and operational support to the news production team. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Direct and code multiple live newscasts using Ross OverDrive and SAGA automation systems.
Lead and coordinate the technical execution of daily news operations in collaboration with producers, directors, and production staff.
Assist in directing and producing approximately six hours of live morning news programming.
Be available to assist with shift coverage when operational needs arise.
