JOB SUMMARY Under general supervision, provides technical assistance and support services to promote the operation and maintenance of Native community-owned and operated sanitation facilities.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES Provides technical assistance and support services to promote the operation and maintenance of water treatment and wastewater disposal facilities. Responds to sanitation facility emergencies and requests for technical assistance. Identifies, researches, and recommends solutions to sanitation and water facility problems.

Prepares summary reports. Inspects equipment, reviews plans and specifications. Reviews designs with respect to onsite operability. Reviews and redlines operation and maintenance manuals. Reviews, evaluates, and recommends improved process control methods to improve operation and maintenance of drinking water, wastewater and solid waste facilities.
