Network Implementation Engineer

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering or Telecom Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with networking protocols and troubleshooting.
Experience in telecommunications, particularly at carrier class and with optical network infrastructure, transmission systems, layer2/3 routers and data services.
Experience with fiber types and their application, physical fiber characteristics, and standard testing tools (OSA, BERT, OTDR).
Experience with optical networking and deployment.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in telecommunications, particularly at scale with a knowledge of network infrastructure, optical transport systems, layer 2/3 (switches, routers), third-party leased network assets and installation vendors.
Experience with managing or directing field operation technicians, engineers, contractors or vendors in a Telco working environment.
