Network Engineer

**Description**

SAIC is seeking a  **Network Engineer ** to be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the network architecture for shipboard C5ISR systems, ensuring robust and secure communication networks in new ship construction.

**Work is performed on site in Pascagoula, MS.**

**Duties:**

+ Plan and execute integration and operational validation and testing in the Platform Integration Facility (PIF), dockside, and at-sea environments to validate system functionality, performance, and interoperability
+ Design and implement network architecture for shipboard C5ISR systems
+ Prepare monthly and as-required contract deliverables (CDRLs) including progress reports, risk assessments, test procedures, test reports, and System Operational Verification Tests (SOVTs)
+ Ensure secure and reliable shipboard communication networks design for NIPRNET, SIPRNET, CENTRIX, and afloat command and control networks
