Network Engineer L2

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network infrastructure using monitoring tools.
• Perform initial troubleshooting of LAN/WAN, routing, and switching issues.
• Identify and escalat(e) incidents as per defined processes.
• Handle ticketing system updates and SLA adherence.
• Basic configuration support for VLANs and VPN users.
• Maintain documentation of issues, resolutions, and configurations.

L1 Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting of routing, switching, and network performance issues.
• Configure and support VLANs, VPNs, and firewall policies at basic to intermediate level.
• Work on incident resolution and root cause analysis (RCA).
• Support change requests and network upgrades.
• Handle firewall rule changes and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with L3 teams and vendors for complex issues.
