Network Engineer

Ibex is looking for a
Network Engineer
with intermediate-level expertise in resolving hardware and software platform issues within a complex, multi-layered network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Experienced in WAN protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF) and LAN/WLAN technologies (DNS, IP addressing, QoS, Spanning Tree, Multicast), with hands-on expertise in Cisco Catalyst switches and Cisco ISR/ASR routers
• Troubleshoot and provide Tier 1/2/3 support to diagnose and resolve escalated issues that may lead to service degradation or interruptions across the Data Center, Disaster Recovery (DR) site, regional hubs, and all branch locations
• Knowledge of next-generation firewalls (multi-vendor: Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, FortiGate) and security products/practices including ACLs, firewalls, VPNs, etc.
• Proficient in proactive network monitoring using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG across 1,000+ devices; solid understanding of NMS/Syslog monitoring, alerti...
