Network Engineer (España)

DXC Spain is looking for an SDN Network Engineer to join our team and work on an international project for an important client.

Requirements

• Education in System Engineering or another relevant IT degree
• Proven hands‑on network engineering experience
• Deep knowledge of Cisco underlay switches
• Deep understanding of networking protocols (Leaf & Spine Topology, IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS, VXLAN, EVPN)
• Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
• Experience with SDN products (Nuage, NSX, Cisco ACI)
• Hands‑on experience with monitoring, network diagnostics and network analytics tools (Netscout, CA Spectum, VMware VRNI, Arista Cloud Vision Portal)
• Capability of working under critical situations in a productive environment

Nice to have

• Public cloud experience, preferably in AWS or Microsoft Azure
• Solid scripting skills (Shell, Python, PowerShell)
