Network engineer

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Network Engineer is a proactive, hands-on technical professional responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of Holiday Inn Club Vacations’ on-premises, cloud, and campus-wide network infrastructure. This role owns network monitoring and alerting, oversees Cisco Meraki and voice administration (CUCM), maintains UPS power systems, and provides Tier‑4 support for wired and wireless connectivity. The ideal candidate lives and breathes network operations, embraces continuous improvement, and delivers top‑tier customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:
- Own network monitoring and observability: design dashboards, tune alerts, and generate trend reports in Datadog (or Solar Winds) so the network team is aware of issues before users are impacted.
- Manage day‑to‑day network operations: triage incidents, fulfill service requests, and execute approved changes via the internal ITSM platform.
