Job Description

This role will play a key part in supporting the day-to-day operation of public transport infrastructure and information at bus stops facilities on the highway network including Chester Bus Interchange, Park & Ride sites, and Ellesmere Port Bus Interchange. In addition to this, the team is responsible for delivering Chester Park & Ride service which complements the local bus services in Chester.

You will also contribute to:

  • Delivery of the Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP), including capital improvements to bus stop infrastructure

  • Maintenance and repairs at Chester Bus Interchange, Park & Ride sites, Ellesmere Port Bus Station, and all bus stops within the borough

  • Provision and up-to-date and accurate public transport information across the borough

  • Supporting local bus services and the concessionary travel consortium

  • Passenger surveys on our supported bus network
