Job Description

Reporting to the Supervisor, Voice & Data Networks, this position is responsible for the ongoing operation and support of the Region’s LAN, WAN and Cloud networking technologies.
This includes asset management, maintaining a state of good repair of all network components, maintaining documentation, monitoring and troubleshooting network performance, fault isolation and post analysis. Provide support on the Information and Operational Technology environments at Halton Region, this includes systems such as AMI, ATMS and SCADA.

Duties & Responsibilities

Plan, design and implement network connectivity to meet business objectives.

Install and configure hardware using routers, switches and firewalls.
