Network Administer

Responsibilities
+ Support the network infrastructure for LAN/WAN services at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
+ Coordinate work actions and collaborate with the CIT federal team and other service areas to ensure network reliability.
+ Respond quickly and thoroughly to incidents, requests, and outages to maintain maximum network uptime.
+ Configure and troubleshoot network gear including CISCO routers, switches, wireless access points, firewalls, and UPS devices.
+ Create network and closet diagrams, decipher network topologies, and utilize network tools for diagnostics and traffic analysis.
+ Maintain meticulous documentation of all work performed for review and reporting purposes.
Requirements
+ Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience with professional certification such as CCNA or CCNP.
