Natural Area Management Officer

The Opportunity

Lithgow City Council has an exciting opportunity for a for a goal oriented and innovative professional to join us as our teams Natural Area Management Officer.

Reporting to the Team Leader Environment and Regulatory Services, you will be responsible for providing Council with specialist and technical expertise with regard to Council managed and surrounding natural assets, bushland conservation, ecosystem management and related stakeholder engagement. Additionally, this position will secure and supervise internal and external funded contracts and grant funded programs, which can further enhance Council's natural assets and assist in sustainable natural resource management.

The position also works closely with Council's Infrastructure Services team to develop works programs that will manage, maintain and upgrade built visitor assets within existing bushland areas and aboriginal cultural sites. The position will pri...
