Nanny-Passero Family

Salary: $20.85 per hour. Overtime pay at 1.5 times employee’s regular rate of pay after 44 hours. May be required to work some weekends

Monday – Friday (40 hours per week)

Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Education: Secondary School plus CPR or First Aid

Language: English

Responsibilities:

• Supervise & care for children before and after school.
• Plan, prepare and serve meals; light housekeeping, laundry.
• Oversee children’s activities, such as meals, play time, rest periods, as instructed by employer.
• Get children ready for school, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
• Instruct children in personal hygiene; tend to the emotional well-being of children and support social development.
• Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
• Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings.
