Job Description
Utah Valley Refugees is looking for a Music Program Coordinator to oversee our youth and adult music classes. This role would require between 1-5 hours a week with flexible hours based on the program needs. This would be a contract position and is grant dependent.
Responsibilities:
- Design and coordinate classes for the refugee youth and adult music program
- Recruit, train, and supervise music teacher volunteers and the music class schedule
- Attend coordination meetings with the UVR staff and other volunteers as needed
Qualifications:
- Background in music education
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Flexible availability to help teach classes as needed
- Interest in helping underserved populations
- Previous experience teaching and/or coordinating music classes preferred
