Job Description
CERN European Organization for Nuclear Research is seeking an Applied Physicist to develop new algorithms for the L0 muon trigger as part of the Next Generation Trigger programme. The position requires experience in AI/ML, trigger systems, and FPGAs, along with strong communication skills.
The candidate will work full-time (40 hours/week) on‑site in Geneva, Switzerland, and will be involved in supervising doctoral students. Key benefits include a monthly stipend, paid leave, health insurance, and a relocation package.
