Multi Skilled Psych Technician

The Multi-Skilled Psychiatric Technician is an active participant of the patient care team who performs direct care clinical tasks consistent with the role of Psychiatric technician, and, in addition, provides support in Reception, Intake, Comprehensive Assessment Center (CAC) and inpatient units as assigned. This role will include all direct care tasks expected of the Psychiatric Technician role, as well as additional clinical and clerical tasks to support the delivery of clinical care. This role encompasses activities including registering of patients, reassignment of rooms and discharging patients in the computer, phlebotomy, and processing of visitors and vendors and property inventory and management.
