Multi-Skilled Engineer

Zest are recruiting for an apprentice trained, multi-skilled engineer to join a leading food manufacturing business in the Leicester area.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment to minimise downtime and ensure production efficiency.
• Fault‑find and repair conveyors, motors, pumps, packaging machinery and other food processing equipment.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying and implementing engineering solutions to enhance safety, quality and productivity.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with food safety standards.

Requirements

• Level 3 engineering qualification (Multi-skilled or electrical)
• FMCG background (Food desirable)
• RTW in UK
