Multi-Skilled Engineer

Job Description

The Shift engineer will provide essential engineering expertise to support Operations in reducing and eliminating downtime. This role involves both proactive and reactive maintenance.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm rotating

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (DOE)

Key Duties of a Multi‑Skilled Engineer:

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on production equipment.
• Identifying and resolving any potential issues before they cause failures.
• Respond rapidly to machinery breakdowns, diagnose the problems and perform repairs or report back to engineering team leader if external specialists are required.
• Carry out machine adjustments, size changes, machine settings when mods are made. This is to help support the production function.
• Monitor and calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy, quality, and safe standards are met.
