MS SQL Database Admin

TCS is hiring SQL Database Administrator Location: Kolkata Experience: 2 • SQL Server Administration (All versions). • Strong knowledge of T-SQL scripting and automation. • Experience in backup and restore strategies and administration. • Performance tuning and query optimization expertise. • High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HADR) implementation experience. • Hands-on experience with Replication, Log Shipping, Clustering, and Always On Availability Groups. • Understanding of Windows Server and networking fundamentals. • Knowledge of Azure SQL, Storage Accounts, and RBAC for cloud environments. • Experience in SQL Server side-by-side migrations and upgrade activities. • Exposure to cloud-based database administration and monitoring tools. • Familiarity with automation and scripting using PowerShell or similar tools. • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. • Ability to work in production and critical support environments. • Good communication and stakeholder coordination ...
