A staff level position in which the MRI technologist produces quality diagnostic MRI scans on patients of all ages using the MRI scanner and associated equipment for imaging and image manipulation. Tasks are performed with minimal supervision and with strict adherence to quality parameters as determined by the department. Technologists independently perform or assist the licensed independent practitioner in the completion of radiographic procedures. Technologists prepare, administer, and document activities related to contrast media and medications in accordance with state and federal regulations or institutional policy.
