MRI Technologist Lead

Job Summary

Oversees day-to-day floor operations within the modality, monitors quality and coordinates education opportunities during these operations. Monitors customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction results, looking for trends and identifying opportunities for improvement. Assigns and monitors the work of MRI technologists to optimize quality and efficiency. Assists manager with payroll duties as assigned. May lead special projects assigned by leadership.


Essential Functions
+ Plans and organizes MRI and related services on assigned shift to assure that all examinations are expeditiously processed and meet all standards of quality and safety.
+ Assumes all charge responsibilities in the absence of the upline. Assumes lead responsibilities for daily quality control, enforcement of radiology policies, and adherence to all procedure policies. Initiates finding coverage for unexpected employee absences when upline is absent.
