Moulder/ Coremaker

At Sheffield Forgemasters we have an exciting opportunity for a Moulder / Coremaker to join our team.

This role is based at our 64-acre site, sitting in the heart of Sheffield, and will be working as part of our Foundry department.

As a Moulder / Coremaker, you will plan and produce cores and moulds safely, following standardised methods and process drawings.

What you’ll be doing

• Produce cores up to 60 tonnes using staples / bars / rails / lifters. 
• Produce moulds up to 650 tonnes in boxes / pits using SFEL best practices and paint ready to cast.
• Basic slinging duties.
• Be involved in the casting process.
• Always work to health & safety guidance and regulations.
• Housekeeping duties to maintain high standards in the work areas.
